Back in June of 1998 Katherine's dad, Steve Amerson, was asked to sing at Katherine’s kindergarten graduation of their home school group. Obviously,for Steve,it was an honor and a special time. As Katherine’s senior graduation approached, Steve was once again asked to sing “Lasso the Moon” a song written by Steve's friend, Lowell Alexander with Billy Simon.

Yes, the years slipped away quickly.

So Kat is now in college. While her parents Kristine and Steve are totally thrilled for the opportunities that are before her, their excitement is tinged with a bit of grief, as her absence will leave a huge hole in their home and their hearts.

We all pray God’s continued blessing on her life as she embraces the future.
